In 1967, 2828 Midvale Avenue served as the office of Royal Records, the record label for the psychedelic pop band The Tormentors. The Tormentors included Tim Daley, Lee Harper, Mark Davis, and Dan Davis. Royal Records released one Tormentors album, "Hanging 'Round," and three singles.
